Claude in the browser and ChatGPT ask for OAuth instead of a token: they come in a later phase.

61 tools. Each AI sees only those allowed by the groups of whoever connects it; everyone has the “Your account” ones.

No tool matches that text.

Security

• A token can do exactly what its owner can do in the panel: their groups’ permissions, read on every call. If they change, the token follows; if the account is deactivated, it stops working.
• It is shown once. The panel keeps its fingerprint and its last four characters, never the token. It has a name and an expiry: 30 days, 90, one year or none.
• Creating one asks for your password. It can be revoked at any time from Profile › Connections, and admins see it in Settings › Logs.
• Every call is recorded in Settings › Logs: who, which tool and which token. A token that does not work is logged as MCP-401; too many calls in a minute, as MCP-429.
• Passwords, verification codes, VPN keys and third-party service keys never leave the panel: for a service you only learn whether its key is set.
• Changes are made by the tool for that action, with the same permission as its screen and the same entry in Settings › Logs, marked “ · MCP”. Before, the AI asks for what is missing, says what it will do and waits for a yes. In the table, “Writes” and, in red, “Irreversible”.

For the AI

On connect, the MCP gives the AI its instructions: which account it acts as, its time zone, that dates come in UTC, how pagination works, never to ask for or repeat keys, before changing anything to ask for what is missing and wait for a yes, and to answer in the user’s language. It also ships ready-made recipes, shown in Claude Code as /mcp__simlatech__<name>:
